If you read my blog postings on any kind of a regular basis, you may remember having seen the above image before. It appeared at the top of a blog posting I published on December 22, 2023.
As I said then, I really like using the pad of notepaper pictured to hold what I think of as a "To Do" list. I did make clear (at least I hope so) that "Conquering The World" is not really one of the tasks to which I am devoting myself.
"Changing The World," though? Well, that IS something I believe I should be trying to do. Maybe you have the same thought!
The question, of course, is how to "Operationalize" the task. The kind of changes needed are not "minor," at least the way I see it. I am working on some ideas. "Politics" must surely play a role, but "politics," as I think about it, may not really be enough. Metanoia. What about that? How do we "operationalize" our need and desire to change the world? I am pretty much open to hearing any ideas that anyone might have!
