My wife, Marilyn, and I have had a long (and very wonderful) life together. Maybe you can pick us out of the picture I have featured. It was taken in China, shortly after we met.
Marilyn's birthday is August 1st. At family gatherings in honor of the day, she has sometimes been celebrated as the "Queen of August." I wouldn't be surprised if I were told that the picture above was taken on August 1st, but my memory is not that good! It could have been!
I try to get birthday greetings out to my friends and acquaintances on their birthdays. Here's a salute to that Queen of August, with love and gratitude!
