Please let me commend to you a November 28, 2018, column by Jennifer Finney Boylan. Writing in The New York Times, Boylan compares our current president, Donald J. Trump, with the last rich New Yorker who served as president: Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Boylan's column, titled "Trump, the Monster Who Feeds on Fear," is well worth reading. It doesn't have a lot of nice things to say about our current president.

And just remember, Roosevelt was right. Even though we have challenges ahead:
We have nothing to fear but fear itself!
