Getting voters to participate in such town-hall gatherings is one of the activities spotlighted in the "Field Guide."

There are lots of ideas in the "Field Guide" about what you can do to counteract our dangerously demagogic and anti-democratic politics.
"Resistance," says the "Field Guide," is necessary but not sufficient. What we really need to do is to take back control over our own government, working from the bottom up!
