#152 / I Hate To Disagree

I have to admit I am a Facebook fan. That means I have a Facebook page and post things to it on a regular basis; things like my daily blog entries, for instance. I also scan through the various items that pop up on my "Timeline."

This brings me to Nikos Kazantzakis, and to a statement attributed to him. Reprinted above, this statement appeared not long ago on that Facebook Timeline, and I am constrained to disagree.

I really loved Zorba The Greek. I like and admire Nikos Kazantzakis and his work.

But I don't agree with this quote, if it's accurate.

If there is one thing I believe
This is it:

We Can Change Reality

For good or ill.

We choose!

  1. I never hate to disagree, Sometimes enjoy it!

We cannot change deep reality, the nature of the universe(s).

We can change ourselves, our personal reality, our relationship to the greater reality, the way we see and interpret the greater reality revealed around us.
