On Thursday, August 1st, the Nickelodeon Theatre in downtown Santa Cruz will be screening a film called Rebels With A Cause. I actually know, and have worked with, at least some of the people who will be featured in the film, which tells how ordinary people in the San Francisco Bay Area were able to preserve and protect the lands that are now known as the Point Reyes National Seashore and the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
The essence of their battle put Nature in the foreground. That's where it ought to be!
