Foretelling the future can't really be done. Not in our world, anyway. That's because we make the world we most directly inhabit, and we can change our way of thinking. Change what we do. That is the essence of that human freedom we talk so much about.
Maybe this is just another way of saying that George Fox got it right:
You have no time but this present time; therefore prize your time for your soul's sake.
