#273 / Governing The World

I am finding that there are too many good books to read. Most recently, an article in The Nation magazine has convinced me that Governing The World: The History of an Idea, should go on my reading list.

This very recent book, authored by Mark Mazower, is extensively summarized in the article in The Nation, written by Mazower himself. It might not even be necessary to read the entire book, having read the article. I know that authors don't like to hear that kind of sentiment expressed, but if you are interested in political theory, and are puzzling what we can or need  to do as we confront our current political situation, in the United States and globally, start with the article; then, go from there.

I'm buying the book!
