I am very happy that President Obama was reelected. I am not so nervous now. I also liked what the President said in his victory speech:
The role of citizens in our democracy does not end with your vote. America's never been about what can be done for us; it's about what can be done by us together, through the hard and frustrating but necessary work of self- government.
That is the principle upon which our nation was founded. And if we want to have self-government, we need to get involved ourselves.
