#97 / Three Essentials: This Seems About Right

Anne Lamott, pictured, is written-up by Wikipedia this way:

Anne Lamott (born April 10, 1954) is an American novelist and non-fiction writer. She is also a progressive political activist, public speaker, and writing teacher. Lamott is based in Marin County, California. Her nonfiction works are largely autobiographical. Marked by their self-deprecating humor and openness, Lamott's writings cover such subjects as alcoholism, single-motherhood, depression, and Christianity.

I am thinking about Lamott because I just dropped off one of her books at the little free library I often visit as I walk around town. That means that there is a free copy of the book there for anyone to take - until someone else takes it first.

I think I mentioned the location of this little free library in an earlier blog posting, so if you think that Lamott's book might hit one of your spots, you should probably head over to check out that library corner somewhat sooner, rather than later.

Here is the title of the book I donated. I can testify that this is a good book!

Help
Thanks
Wow

These words sum up what Lamott says are "the three essential prayers."

Sounds about right to me!
