I subscribe to The Catholic Worker. It is a newspaper published in New York City, and it is not available online. You can find out how to subscribe, however, by going online and clicking this link. Incidentally, the masthead of The Catholic Worker contains this advisory: "Price 1¢.” They will definitely accept more.
The June-July 2012 edition of The Catholic Worker reminds readers of the "Bread and Roses Strike" of textile workers in Lawrence, Massachusetts, just over 100 years ago. Looking for a campaign theme for the 21st Century? I continue to think that both bread and roses should be included.
