This was going to be a politics based not on "party," but on a common commitment to a progressive agenda, with roots in local actions, and in local communities, and with local elected officials playing a key role.
As you might have noticed, that didn't happen.
Could have happened, though. Should have happened! The name is still available. It's still a good idea.
