I understand the consistency point of affirmative action and 14th equal protection of laws, but is affirmative action for equal protection of laws perpetual in time? It appears urgent now for healthy public policy, but not perpetual. The periodic accountability public discussion test for the reality of equal protection would be a healthy exercise for us all and raise the issue of other forms of reparation. We will find, I believe, that. affirmative action is beneficial, but not dispositive and in need of supplementation.<br />This case seems to be whether diversity in higher education is a sound goal.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
