#260 / Where I Stand (Politically)

I "bit," not too long ago, and responded to an online advertisement (see above), suggesting that I should take an "online test," to find out where I stand politically. Feel free to click this link, which may allow you to take that very same test, yourself. If you do venture on, to take the test, be aware that here's what you'll see when you finish up:

In other words, you can take the test for free, but you'll have to pay to see the results. I didn't pay. I did, however, get a number of individual evaluations as I took the test, which were interesting, letting me know how I compared to others. Here's the advisory that particularly pleased me, measuring how "open" I am to the views of others:

My personal self-evaluation is that I am, in fact, very much "open" to the views of others, even while being quite confident in the views I hold myself.

Naturally, I was delighted to find out that the online test I took confirms my self-evaluation.

That validating judgment didn't cost me anything, either (except, of course, the time I spent taking the test).

My advice? Be open to other people's views, but have a pretty solid hold on the views you hold yourself.

Just like me, in other words!
