At least Jill Stein recognizes other environmental effects of human growth and development not related to climate variation.<br /><br />Both Bernie and Hillary propose further human growth, albeit based on "renewable" energy sources, both ignoring the reality that solar, wind, tidal and hydro cannot possibly supply the same amount and portability of energy currently consumed from fossil fuel sources. Neither of them have any realistic understanding of environments, ecosystems, ecology, conservation or bioregionalism, nor of the systemic effects of a human economy based on perpetual growth.<br /><br />For environmentalists knowledgable of ecology, there is no difference between the two Democrat Party candidate, and, of course, the Republican Party is totally clueless. <br /><br />Jill Stein, if she becomes a candidate, is the only one with any appreciation of the systemic changes necessary to reduce human impact on the non-human worldMichael A.
