Van Jones was the keynote speaker at the Powershift 2011 conference, held from April 15th to April 18th this year in Washington, D.C. Click the link to hear his speech.

Jones was speaking to young people, but I don't actually think that his message is age-specific:

You have to make a decision not to wait to term ... not to wait your turn. Don't let anyone tell you you're going to be the leaders of tomorrow ... You must be the leaders of today. Powershift. Shift the power.

It's good advice for all of us. It's our assignment.
